PACKING

Small details. Better packed boxes.

Give the things you care about a thoughtful layer of protection.

Choose a suitable box

Use a sound box that is appropriate for the contents. Reinforce the base and avoid overloading. Heavy items are easier to handle in smaller boxes.

Wrap items separately

Cushion delicate surfaces and avoid direct contact between fragile pieces. Fill empty space so items cannot move freely inside.

Label for the next room

Write the destination room and a clear description on the top and side. Mark fragile contents so the label can be seen when boxes are stacked.

Keep a record

Note unusual or valuable items separately and discuss any handling requirements before a moving plan is agreed.
